Volunteers needed to help make space for the Native Pollinator Flowers

THE INVASIVE PLANTS (WEEDS) HAVE BEEN CUT DOWN BY THE BRUSH CUTTER.  BUT THE  INVASIVE PLANTS (WEEDS)  ARE GROWING BACK

WE NEED TO TAKE OUT THE WEEDS TO MAKE SPACE FOR THE NATIVE POLLINATOR FLOWERS!

EVENT:  INVASIVE REMOVAL.  Pull, cut, dig out the invasives (weeds) that are growing back in the wet land meadow.

WHEN:  PLEASE HELP OUT ON ANY OR ALL OF THESE DAYS:

SAT AUG 19  AFTERNOON SESSION    1:00pm  -4:00pm

SUN AUG 20   AFTERNOON SESSION  1:00PM-4:00PM

 SAT AUG 26   MORNING SESSION       9:00AM-12NOON

SUN AUG 27   AFTERNOON SESSION  1:00PM-4:00PM

         ( The wet lands area attached to school property)

SIGN IN :  School Parking Lot.  Volunteer sign in sheets.  Community and Master Watershed Stewardship service credits approved.

BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT.  Gas or battery powered weed wacker  Shovels, hand pruners, weed whips, loppers, saws, rakes.

A limited number of shovels, etc will also be available

WEAR: Long pants, long sleeves, gloves, sturdy shoes/boots.  There is poison ivy, ticks.

WATER WILL BE PROVIDED.

(RAIN OR SHINE-UNLESS THERE IS A THUNDERSTORM)
