Help Restore History and Nature at Morton Homestead!

The Darby Creek Valley Association (DCVA), in partnership with Prospect Park Borough and the Delaware County Conservation District, invites you to join us at Morton Homestead Historical Park on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Rain or Shine) for a morning of hands-on environmental action.

Together, we’ll be working to improve the grounds of this historic site and enhance the health of Darby Creek. With your help, we’ll protect native habitats, reduce stormwater impacts, and preserve the natural beauty that surrounds this important landmark.

    Location: Morton Homestead Historical Park
100 Lincoln Ave, Prospect Park, PA 19076

This event is open to volunteers of all ages and experience levels—whether you’re a seasoned steward or brand new to conservation work, there’s a role for you. Tools, materials, and guidance will be provided. Just bring sturdy footwear, dress for outdoor work, and come ready to make a difference!

By volunteering, you’ll not only support an important piece of Pennsylvania history—you’ll also be helping to protect our watershed for generations to come.
